I (finally) made it to the Karen Millen in LA. It was quite an adventure...
Since it was Carmageddon, I decided to use the bus system to get to Beverly Center, which is where the Karen Millen website told me their LA (west coast flagship) store is.

Oh, the sparkles. |

I want those lights for my (future) house, but, you know, smaller. |
Beverly Center is quite impressive, and speaks of the wealth of the area. I can see why a clinical rotation at Cedar-Sinai, located right by the mall, is considered to be a great exposure to the diseases that plague the affluent. However, imagine my shock and horror when I COULDN'T find the Karen Millen store where the mall directory said it would be. The director of guest services informs that the store has closed. CLOSED!?!? I think I felt faint.
In a desperate panic, I called the Copley Karen Millen, who were lovely as always and gave me the phone number and address of the new location of the flagship. One small problem, I had no clue how to get there. Thank all that is holy for the most wonderful director of guest services at Beverly. He kindly found out which bus would get me there, and when. It was only with much effort from everyone that I was finally able to arrive at...
