The end of the world as we know it

Now that even the Mayans have been proved wrong, it looks like we are just going to have to make our own futures happen without any hope of an end.

To that end, I'm sharing some of what I did to celebrate our continuing lease on life.

It's embarrassing how long it has been since I last put pencil to paper.
I had forgotten how soothing art is.

Arranging some flowers while spending Christmas with family.

Eating Christmas dinner with family and friends.

And what meal for me is completed without some dessert.
汤圆 and mulled wine fit in perfectly with the East meets West dinner.

And finally pork nabe for New Year's Eve.

Of course, break is perfect to do some TV watching.
I Miss You or Missing You is a great new Korean drama.

And if you haven't been watching, Nashville is a brilliant show.
Not just because I can recognize quite a few locations.
