Farm life is good life



Because of some wonderful friends, I had the opportunity to spend two days on a Vermont farm.  Really, there was so much great company, conversation, and food that I can't even describe the experience properly.  But do enjoy some of the highlights via photos.

We had to work for our food.

Some of us worked harder than others.

Then we cooked some food: vegetable and lamb (from the farm!) skewers.
It was pouring!  But that didn't stop this grill.

Finally it was time to eat!  All that hard work made me work up a huge appetite.  I think my mom thought I was going to eat the plate.

Fortunately, there was dessert in the form of raspberry and rhubarb crisp with  vanilla ice cream  instead.
